DATA HANDLING PRACTICES

How We Keep Your Account Data Secure

Security is built into every layer of how we store and process your data — from encrypted payment records to access controls that limit which staff can view your account details.

Encryption at Rest and in Transit

All personal data stored on our servers is encrypted using AES-256. Data moving between your device and our platform — including UPI and Paytm payment details — travels over TLS 1.3, so it cannot be read in transit.

Cookie Policy and Your Choices

We use session cookies to keep you logged in and analytics cookies to understand how pages are used. You can withdraw cookie consent at any time from the Privacy Settings section of your account without losing access to core features.

Account Security Controls

OTP verification via your registered mobile number is required for every login from a new device. If we detect a login attempt from an unrecognised location, your account is temporarily held and you receive an alert immediately.

Data Retention Schedule

Account data is kept for the duration your account is active plus a statutory period required under Indian financial regulations. Once that window closes, personal identifiers are deleted and only anonymised transaction totals are retained for audit purposes.

Third-Party Data Sharing

We share your data only with partners who are contractually bound to protect it — such as KYC verification services and payment processors like Paytm and PhonePe. We do not share data with advertisers or data brokers under any circumstance.

Requesting Changes to Your Data

You have the right to access, correct or request deletion of your personal data at any time. Submit a verified request via email or live chat, and our privacy team will confirm the action taken within 30 calendar days.

Frequently Asked Privacy Questions

These answers cover the data rights and privacy concerns we hear most often from account holders in India. If your question is not listed here, reach our privacy team directly through live chat or the help desk ticket system.

We collect your name, email address, mobile number, and a government-issued ID reference for KYC purposes. Payment identifiers like your UPI ID or Paytm wallet reference are also stored so we can process and verify transactions on your account accurately.

Yes. Submit a data access request through email or a help desk ticket with your account number. We will compile and send you a full copy of your personal data record within 30 calendar days, in a readable format you can download and keep.

Contact our privacy team via email or live chat and submit a verified deletion request. We will remove your personal identifiers from active systems within 30 days, subject to any retention obligations required under applicable Indian financial law.

We share payment details — such as your PhonePe transaction reference or Paytm wallet ID — only with licensed payment processors who handle your transactions. These partners are contractually required to protect your data and cannot use it for any other purpose.

We retain your account data for the statutory period mandated by Indian financial regulations after account closure. Once that period ends, personal identifiers are permanently deleted and only anonymised aggregate records are kept for internal compliance audits.

We use essential session cookies to keep you logged in, and optional analytics cookies to see which pages are visited most. You can review and withdraw consent for non-essential cookies from the Privacy Settings page in your account at any time.

Contact us immediately through live chat so our security team can review your account activity and freeze any suspicious access. We will investigate within 24 hours and notify you of the outcome, including any steps taken to secure your data.
